What vr.auto, rent.vr.auto and detailing.vr.auto store in your browser and which third parties they contact, why, and for how long. Only the strictly necessary entries are stored without asking; everything else waits for the choice you make in the cookie banner.

Purpose: Stores a copy of your cookie choice on the site you are visiting, so the banner is not shown again and optional scripts know whether they may run. The choice itself is shared between our three domains through the vr-cc cookie above; this entry is its local copy.

Google Tag Manager container

Purpose: The container script loads with the page, before you choose anything. Each of the three sites loads its own container. It sets nothing by itself: Google Consent Mode holds every analytics and advertising tag inside it in a denied state until you consent.

Purpose: Set by Google Analytics, if it is among the tags configured in those containers, to measure in aggregate how the site is used. Nothing is set unless you allow analytics.

Purpose: The map on the contacts block stays behind a click-to-load panel and nothing is requested from Google until you allow marketing. Once it loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Cloudflare Stream video player

Purpose: The videos in the "Our work" section are hosted on Cloudflare Stream. Nothing is loaded until you press play on a case; the player then runs in a frame served by Cloudflare, which receives the request, including your IP address, to deliver the video. The player sets no cookies for us and is not used to track you across sites.

Reviewer photos on Google reviews

Purpose: The reviews themselves are fetched by our server, so your browser never asks Google for them. Only the reviewers' profile pictures load from Google as images — no cookies are set for us, but Google receives the request, including your IP address.

Booking emails via Brevo

Purpose: Booking confirmations and reminders are sent through Brevo. They are email, not part of this site, and set nothing in your browser — but the message contains an open-tracking pixel loaded from Brevo when your mail client displays images, and Brevo processes your name and address to deliver it. Every one of these messages carries an unsubscribe link.

Google reCAPTCHA
Script, cookies and browser storage · anti-abuse · Google · rent checkout and detailing enquiry form · not consent-gated
Purpose: Google's anti-abuse service, loaded on the rental checkout on rent.vr.auto and on the enquiry form on detailing.vr.auto so that a submitted form can be scored as coming from a person rather than a script. It loads with the form, before you send anything, reads and writes entries of its own in your browser, and sends Google technical data about the device and how the page was used. We receive only the score; everything else goes to Google and is governed by its own policy, not this one.

Viva Payments cookies

Purpose: Set on viva.com while you pay, to run and secure the payment session. They belong to Viva's own domain and are governed by Viva's policy, not this one.

Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any of our sites to reopen the banner. It shows your standing choice, and "Customise" lets you allow analytics and marketing separately.
The choice is shared between our three domains through the vr-cc cookie, so changing it on one site changes it on all three at once.
We ask again after 12 months. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time; removing vr-cc and vr-cookie-consent brings the banner back on your next visit.
Refusing the optional categories does not limit bookings, payments or any other part of the sites.
Legal basis
Strictly necessary entries are stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the sites, and require no consent. Analytics and marketing are stored only on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
